2018 CCSO Chapter President of the Year – Lt. Ryan Shaw
This year the CCSO State Board of Directors selected North Kern State Prison (NKSP) Correctional Lieutenant Ryan Shaw as the Chapter President of the year.

Ryan has been the NKSP Chapter President for many years, during which he has advocated for members in order to help improve working conditions and to resolve issues before they got out of hand.

After the tragic shooting in Las Vegas, Ryan began fundraising for two CCSO members, Correctional Sergeant Todd Wienke of Calipatria State Prison, who was injured at the event, and for the family of Correctional Lieutenant Derrick “Bo” Taylor of the Fire Camps, who lost his life during that same tragic night.  For this, and many other reasons, we congratulate Lieutenant Shaw as the 2018 Chapter President of the Year.
