CCSO Welcomes Art Gonzales and Bids Farewell to Carol Erickson:
The California Correctional Supervisors Organization (CCSO) welcomes Art Gonzales Sr. into the CCSO office as the new Organization’s Labor Representative. Art Gonzales Sr. is known to many Chapter Presidents and members in his capacity as one of the three Regional Representatives. He will remain as a Regional Representative, but will now on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remain in the office to field calls from members as a Labor Representative.
His thirty (30) years of experience in custody as a Correctional Officer at DVI, a Sergeant at SQ and a Lieutenant at Chaderjian Youth Institution gives him a broad range of skills, experience, and perspective from both the Juvenile and Adult sides within the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Art Gonzales Sr. has been a CCSO Regional Representative the last few years, assisting Chapters and members throughout the state on a myriad of issues. The office is pleased to have Art join the circle of staff that on a daily basis give their best to represent members.
As we welcome aboard Art Gonzales Sr., we say a farewell to the CCSO Senior Office Tech Carol Erickson. Carol Erickson is retiring from CCSO effective the end of this year, after being employed here for fourteen years (14) years. This office will lose a truly dedicated employee who has always given her utmost when it came to her work and to the members she served.
Carol Erickson is a kind woman who always made the time to listen to every person who called this office and related to each as if they were long-time friends. On a personal note, I will miss her steadfast and loyal assistance that she has given to me these past 14 years. Carol is a woman that embodies every quality of a true lady.
Carol plans on camp hosting as she and her husband have always enjoyed the outdoors, and when not camping she will devote time doing what she loves to do best, and that is being with her children and grandchildren. From all of us at CCSO, we wish her the best in her retirement.
If you wish to call Carol and wish her good-bye, her last day will be Wednesday, October 18 th.
God Bless you, Carol and Enjoy Retirement!!
Take Care and Be Safe
