It has come to my attention that a number of SUPERVISORS do not know their rights to Legal Representation during an Investigation/Hearing. NEVER EVER SIGN YOUR RIGHTS AWAY! You have the right to have a legal representative with you at a Hearing or Investigation. SUPERVISORS HAVE 5 DAYS TO SECURE LEGAL REPRESENTATION, NOT 24 HOURS! Your 5 days start when you are issued your notice. As soon as you are issued your notice, do not delay in contacting CCSO at 1(800) 449-2940, and FAX the Notice of Hearing to CCSO at 1(209) 838-6759. Be prepared to fax any supporting documents that pertain to the case.

IF YOU RECEIVE NOTICE OF A HEARING OR INVESTIGATION AFTER CCSO’S REGULAR BUISNESS HOURS, OR ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS, CALL 1 (800) 449-2940 AND LEAVE A MESSAGE ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE. Leave your Name, Institution, Nature of Investigation/Hearing and Phone number(s) where you can be reached. FAX the notice of Investigation/Hearing to 1 (209) 838-6759.
